New Arrivals

Well, I told myself that I didn’t need any more animals. I was just going to the auction to look. I thought, maybe a new snake and if I could find a female turkey I would get her for Tom (our two year Bourbon Red Tom Turkey).

Before the auction even started, Scott found the elk antler chandelier that he has been wanting for the lobby of the office. He knew that he would have to go home for the trailer in order to get the chandelier home and so there was no reason not to bid on the big items that were up for auction with the animal supplies. We ended up being the high bidder on a new “petter” and nine compartment feed bin. We both thought that these would be nice additions to the new animal building.

Not long after Scott left to get the trailer, I the newest addition to the Ranch, Little Bit.  He is the smallest horse I have ever seen. He is the size of Alphie, our border collie back home. It didn’t take me long to decide that Little Bit should come home with us. In addition to Little Bit, I brought home 14 new animals of 8 different species and a trailer load of supplies for our new animal building.

We need a name!

Our New Animal Learning Center is well underway. I am so excited that I have not been able to think of a name. If you have any ideas on what to call this building please let me know.
